ECO TIPS

To sanitize cutting boards, counters fruits and veggies, and all surfaces with bacteria: Put in one spray bottle a 3% hydrogen peroxide and put in another spray bottle plain white or apple cider vinegar. Spray one then the other (either one first) and wipe off. This combination is more effective than chlorine bleach at disinfecting. It was shown to kill virtually all Salmonella, Shigella or E. coli bacteria on heavily contaminated food and surfaces when tested by food scientists at Virginia Polytech. Using one mist right after the other is ten times more effective than using either spray by itself and more effective than mixing the vinegar and hydrogen peroxide in the same bottle.
